Product Review: Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar & Stain Remover

We were provided with a Purex Fels-Naptha Laundry Bar & Stain Remover for review.

About this:

This product has been around since the late 1800′s. It was originally a home remedy for poison ivy.
Today this product is used as Heavy-duty laundry bar soap ideal for pretreating stains. Recommended for greasy and oily stains.

Purex Fels-Naptha is a powerful laundry bar that works overtime to remove greasy, oily stains, perspiration, and ring-around-the-collar. With over 100 years of removing America’s stains, you can rest assured that this laundry bar knows how to tackle your toughest stains.

All you’ve got to do is rub the stain with a wet bar of Purex Fels-Naptha and let it sit for a few minutes. Then wash your clothes as you normally would and say farewell to tough stains for good

Our thoughts:
This is just another fine product from long ago that was pushed aside for modern miracles only to be brought back because it works great.

We tested this product on an old tee shirt that had all kinds of stains. We wet our test areas with water and rubbed the bar over it. When the shirt came out of the dryer, the stain was gone.

We like that this bar doesn’t contain a lot of liquid that can drip on other things, such as the floor where our pets can get to it. This bar is large for a bar yet, a good size for storage as to not take up a lot of room. We also like that this product is safe for not just white laundry items.

There are a lot of uses for this product and we are anxious to try this bar out on some of them. People seem to rave over it’s uses.
