I love that it is so easy to make and I love that it is a healthy item.
EASY Garlic and Tomato Bruschetta
I like to think of Bruschetta as the Italian version of salsa. Salsa is something else that I love.
Most people enjoy their Bruschetta with a crusty French or Italian style bread.
I have no problem with this as serving Bruschetta to a crowd is easy to do. All you need to to is pre-slice the bread and serve it. Going stale is not a problem because the bread is preferred somewhat stale when paired with Bruschetta.
Sometimes, I like to get creative with what I serve my Bruschetta with.
Low carb wraps and
tortillas are another great way to enjoy Bruschetta . Simply slice them into triangles, like a pie, and toast them in an oven with a bit of
extra-virgin olive oil and maybe some
garlic salt or
I think that you can easily get the idea now.
You can use a cheat with this recipe by using a
can of diced tomatoes instead of the fresh tomatoes.
Here is the recipe for EASY Garlic and Tomato Bruschetta
- 6-8 diced or 1 1/2 to 2 10-12 ounce can of diced tomatoes Roma/Plum Tomatoes
- 3 minced Garlic Cloves
- 1 teaspoon Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 1 teaspoon Balsamic Vinegar
- 1/4 teaspoon Kosher Salt
- 1/3 cup chopped, can sub in Kale or Spinach Fresh Basil
