I love salmon.
I love (most) every kind of salmon. I love most every kind of salmon prepared in about every kind of way.
I am also a fan of lemons. I put lemon in my water and in my recipes.
Combining lemons and salmon is the best of both worlds for me.
It’s a healthy and tasty meal that I really enjoy.
Baked Salmon with Lemon
This isn’t so hard to make.
What I like about this is that I can prepare it, put it into the oven and then come back to a healthy meal when I am ready to. I can even set my oven to bake later on- kind of like a slow cooker would.
I serve baked salmon with lemon with green vegetables.
Usually a light salad and some broccoli with a bit of butter or even green beans with butter makes for a good meal. My daughter is a rice fan and would eat her baked salmon with lemon over rice.
This is an easy, delicious, and healthy meal for me. That is something that I like.
- 4 Salmon Fillets 6-8 ounce
- 2 tbs- divided Extra Virgin Olive Oil
- 4 tsp Minced Garlic
- 1 sliced in thin slices Lemon
- Rosemary and/or Thyme as needed Optional herbs
- Salt, Pepper, Lemon Pepper as needed Optional
