Every year we gotta go green.
St. Patrick’s day has always been a fun fest for us.
We meet our friends for a fun gathering of green. We wear green. We eat green. We drink green. And we become green. We call it the ‘Green Event’.
For St. Patrick’s Day, it’s all about the ‘GREEN FUN’.
This year our GREEN is all about the CUPCAKES #ad #MixUpAMoment
Our contribution to the ‘Green Event’ will be green cupcakes.
How do you make green cupcakes?
Well, you could make cupcakes from scratch and add some green food coloring.
Or, as I have found, you can use a green cupcake mix and save some money and a whole lot of time.
The naysayers said that the cupcake mix cupcakes wouldn’t taste as good as the homemade ones. I said they would. At that point, it was on. I had to prove that the cupcakes that we bring to the ‘Green Event’ would be green and would taste just as good, if not better than the homemade ones. And, the store bought cupcakes would not cost a lot of money.
When I got home I realized that I had forgotten to read the ingredient list to see what else I would need to make the cupcakes. To my surprise, all I needed was oil, water, and egg whites. Who doesn’t have that in their kitchen?
Pillsbury Funfetti mix was a hit! My ‘Green Event’ taste-testers were pleasantly surprised. I love that the mix was green and it was so easy to make- I just had to add three ingredients.
I love that Pillsbury Funfetti mix was so easy to make and it didn’t break the bank!! YAY!
Now I am all pumped up for Easter!
I can’t wait to head on back to Walmart to see what Pillsbury has for the Easter event that I need to prepare for. I’ll certainly keep you updated :).

I’m heading back to Walmart to load up on more Funfetti. I want to have plenty of cake mix and frostings on hand for when I need it.
