Chocolate Chia Pudding
Have you noticed that there is a lot of talk out there about Chia?
What exactly is Chia?
Chia is a seed from a plant that grows in Mexico and neighboring countries. Chia is actually a part of the mint family.
Some folks call chia a ‘Superfood”.
Chia is loaded in certain beneficial vitamin B’s. Chia is also rich in omega-3 fatty acids. Because of what chia has in it, people believe that chia can help with issues with blood pressure, joint pain, and so much more. That is why some call chia a “superfood”.
I like to classify foods that are regarded as “superfoods” as foods that I will use in healthier recipes.
Yes, chocolate and pudding are favorite desserts for many of us. And yes, there is a way to work some chia into that chocolate pudding to make recipes even better.
This recipe can be made sugar free.
Simply use Greek Yogurt. cocoa powder, and syrup with no sugar added .
